Common questions
Short, straight answers. If yours is not here, write to contact@origincraft.us and a person will answer it.
What does "sealed at origin" mean?
The producer bags and seals each lot before it leaves origin. Nothing is opened, blended, or repacked on the way to you. The bag we sell is the bag that left the farm gate.
Which grade should I pick?
What is on the ingredients panel?
One line. Vanilla beans. No sugar, starch, or carrier.
Do you blend origins?
No. We work one origin at a time and keep each lot separate, so every listing can name the lot it ships from.
How big are the pods?
Each listing shows the numbers for its lot in the spec table. Current lots run 15 to 20 cm.
How should I store vanilla beans?
Once opened, move them to an airtight jar. Room temperature, out of the light. Skip the refrigerator, which pulls moisture out of the pod.
Where do orders ship from?
Branchburg, New Jersey. We import the lots ourselves and pack every order here.
Can I return a bag?
Unopened bags, within 30 days. The details live in our refund policy.
How does bulk ordering work?
Send the bulk form with the product, volume, and timeline. We reply with availability, specifications, and packaging options, usually within one business day. The same lot scales from a half pound to a production floor.
Are your imports FDA-cleared?
Yes. Our imports are FDA-cleared and come from an FDA-registered supplier facility.
